大型混凝土搅拌机，有的轮胎还含有其他的字母或者符号，是有特殊含义的：“X”表示高压胎；“C”表示加强型；“B表示斜交胎”；“一”表示低压胎。M、S分别表示英文Mud和Snow的缩写，它表示这种轮胎适合于冰雪和泥泞的道路上使用。某些轮胎的胎壁上标有箭头或OUTER SIDE字样，它表示轮胎的转动方向。如果胎壁上画有一个小雨伞标志，就表明这种轮胎适合于在雨天或者湿滑路面上行驶。DOT标记表示这种轮胎通过了美国和加拿大某某运输部门的认证。大型混凝土搅拌机虽然这些知识不是太热门，但是在用车的过程中还是能起到大作用的。
